Whats Happening at
Joey’s in May and June 2008
Spring has sprung in CNY and
at Joey’s we are enjoying the wonderful
Spring weather as we get ready for Summer season.
May will be a very busy month indeed for Joey’s,
Joey’s Thousand Island Club will open
for the weekends only from Friday, May 2 on
Fridays and Saturdays only until officially
open for the Summer season beginning Memorial
Weekend. At Joey’s in Syracuse we will
be a packed house for the weekend of May 9-11,
with S.U. Graduation and Mother’s Day
occurring over those 3 days.
We recently added some new talent
to Joey’s kitchen with the addition of
cooks Darnell Curry and Dave Moslander in the
day and night kitchens respectively. Darnell
and Dave came on board in part to fill the gap
when long time cook Dickie Roberts retired and
moved to Florida, so good luck to Dickie, we’ll
miss you ! and welcome Darnell and Dave to the
best team of cooks in CNY !
Our catering business has been
very active, taking care of all sorts of parties,
from First Communions, to engagement parties,
to office picnics and more. If you have a party
or event, give us a call, our catering sales
staff can create a custom menu to help ensure
your party is a success. We do offer limited
banquet facilities at Joey’s and Pronto
Joeys for groups of 50 to 70 for buffet luncheons
on Saturday and Sunday only, please call our
catering sales office (315-410-1753) for more
information on our buffet luncheons.
Congratulations to the Syracuse
Crunch hockey team on their recent winning streak
and recent playoff success. Joey’s provided
dinner for the entire team and coaches twice
during their winning streak, and while Joey’s
can’t take credit for the winning ways,
we like to think that their meals at Joey’smade
a contribution to the team spirit. Go Crunch
!
